Arts and Entertainment Schedule Expands Across Birmingham Venues
Dozens of performances and exhibitions open in the coming weeks at established city spaces.

Birmingham venues have added 28 new arts and entertainment programs set to begin between July 14 and July 25.
The additions arrive as residents seek local options amid global news on trade routes and weather disruptions elsewhere. City cultural officers released the updated listings on July 10 after reviewing venue bookings filed in June.
Venues on Broad Street and in Digbeth
The Symphony Hall on Broad Street will open its July concert series on July 18 with a program of chamber music and film scores. Two blocks away, the Hippodrome on Hurst Street starts a run of three plays on July 20. In Digbeth, the Custard Factory has scheduled four pop-up exhibitions that run through the end of the month, each featuring work by local painters and photographers.
These locations sit within a 15-minute walk of each other and share a single ticketing portal managed by the city’s arts trust. Staff at the trust report that combined capacity across the four sites exceeds 4,200 seats per evening.
Attendance figures released last month show 1.15 million visits to Birmingham arts events in the 2025-26 financial year, up 9 percent from the prior period. Average ticket prices listed in the new schedule range from £12 for gallery entry to £38 for evening performances.
Booking and access details
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on July 13 through the Symphony Hall box office and the Hippodrome website. The Custard Factory exhibitions remain free with timed entry slots available online. Residents can also collect paper tickets in person at the Ikon Gallery shop in Brindleyplace before 6 p.m. daily. Advance purchase is advised because several evening shows have already reached 60 percent capacity in pre-sales.
